Two ServiceMaster Clean Businesses Awarded for Commitment to Supporting the Environment
ServiceMaster Clean AAA and ServiceMaster Clean by Deeland have been recognised for their dedication to environmental initiatives with Capital Fleet Solutions’ North Star Invest in the Future Awards.
At ServiceMaster Clean, many of our businesses work hard to do their bit to minimise the impact of their operations on the environment.
Two of these businesses, ServiceMaster Clean AAA and ServiceMaster Clean by Deeland, were recognised with Capital Fleet Solutions’ North Star Invest in the Future Awards for going above their commitment to greener cleaning and business practices at the ServiceMaster Thrive in 2025 conference and gala evening.

From innovative ideas to thoughtful changes, ServiceMaster Clean by Deeland have demonstrated exceptional commitment and action that’s not only driven environmental change but set a powerful example for the whole brand.
Collecting the award on behalf of the business, Jane Paisley says they were motivated to start looking into being more environmentally friendly because it means a great deal to their clients.
“It’s a great way to show our clients that we’re trying our best to be part of a positive change and share that we are doing our bit to try by changing what we can influence, like washing and reusing materials, deploying electric cars and vans and using eco-friendly products where we can.“
Carbon Neutral Award
This award recognises ServiceMaster Clean AAA as a truly forward-thinking business, one that has made carbon neutrality not just a goal, but a reality.
It celebrates their leadership in sustainability, commitment to environmental responsibility, and the determination to leave a lighter footprint on our planet.
Having taken clear, measurable steps to make this happen through their ServiceMaster Clean AAA Woodland and even becoming certified carbon neutral in 2024, ServiceMaster Clean AAA were the worthy winner!
Collecting the award, owner Siva Kugathas says he was motivated to do so after considering the impacts of climate change on future generations.
“The key part for us is that I have a family, most of the rest of our team as a family, and we want to create a better world for our children and grandchildren and their children and grandchildren.”
