ServiceMaster Clean North East Celebrate Darlington FC Win After Match Ball Sponsorship
ServiceMaster Clean North East was proud to be the match ball sponsor for Darlington FC on Saturday, as the Quakers secured a 1-0 victory over Leamington. The result made the day even more memorable.
The sponsorship demonstrates the company’s close ties to Darlington, where ServiceMaster Clean North East offers professional cleaning services to numerous GP surgeries and commercial premises throughout the town and its neighbouring areas.
Business owner Chris Blewitt said supporting the club was important both professionally and personally.
“Darlington is a key area for our business, where we clean several GP surgeries, so it’s great to be involved in the town’s activities with this community-based club. It was even better to see them secure a win on the day. Perhaps we should sponsor the match ball more often.”
Chris has supported the Quakers for nearly 50 years, attending his first match in 1976, a 0-0 draw against Crewe. Since then, he has followed the club through both difficult periods and significant moments, including two trips to Wembley.
“I have experienced the highs and lows over the years, so it was fantastic to be there for such a great result. Hopefully, this gives the team a proper boost as they push towards the play-offs. Up the Quakers!”
