ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services Expands Cambridge United Sponsorship to Women’s Team

ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services Mid Anglia, Cambridge and Norfolk has expanded its partnership with Cambridge United Football Club to include sponsorship of Cambridge United Women.

The announcement builds on the company’s existing relationship with Cambridge United, where ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services branding has already been featured prominently around the pitch at men’s first-team fixtures.

By supporting the women’s team, ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services is enhancing its connection with the club and demonstrating its commitment to football across Cambridge.

Building on a Strong Cambridge United Partnership

The original partnership brought ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services Mid Anglia, Cambridge and Norfolk together with one of the region’s best-known sporting organisations.

Its pitch-side presence has helped put the ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services name in front of supporters attending Cambridge United matches, as well as wider audiences watching the club.

The latest expansion strengthens that partnership. Supporting Cambridge United Women allows ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services to further participate in the local sports scene and promotes the growth and recognition of women’s football.

It comes at an important time for Cambridge United Women, with the club’s women’s first team returning to play in Cambridge during the 2026/27 season.

Supporting Women’s Football in Cambridge

Women’s football continues to attract growing interest from supporters, businesses and local communities.

For ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services Mid Anglia, Cambridge and Norfolk, expanding the sponsorship was a natural next step in its relationship with Cambridge United.

The business already works closely with organisations across the region and places strong importance on being part of the communities its teams serve.

Supporting both Cambridge United’s men’s and women’s teams reflects that commitment and allows the partnership to reach an even broader section of the local community.

Malcom Bennett, Managing Director at ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services Mid Anglia, Cambridge and Norfolk, said:

“We’re really pleased to expand our partnership with Cambridge United and support the women’s team as well. Our relationship with the club has been a fantastic way for us to strengthen our ties with Cambridge, and supporting the women’s side felt like the right next step. ServiceMaster Clean North East Celebrate Darlington FC Win After Match Ball Sponsorship

ServiceMaster Clean North East was proud to be the match ball sponsor for Darlington FC on Saturday, as the Quakers secured a 1-0 victory over Leamington. The result made the day even more memorable.

The sponsorship demonstrates the company’s close ties to Darlington, where ServiceMaster Clean North East offers professional cleaning services to numerous GP surgeries and commercial premises throughout the town and its neighbouring areas.

Business owner Chris Blewitt said supporting the club was important both professionally and personally.

“Darlington is a key area for our business, where we clean several GP surgeries, so it’s great to be involved in the town’s activities with this community-based club. It was even better to see them secure a win on the day. Perhaps we should sponsor the match ball more often.”

Chris has supported the Quakers for nearly 50 years, attending his first match in 1976, a 0-0 draw against Crewe. Since then, he has followed the club through both difficult periods and significant moments, including two trips to Wembley.

“I have experienced the highs and lows over the years, so it was fantastic to be there for such a great result. Hopefully, this gives the team a proper boost as they push towards the play-offs. Up the Quakers!”

ServiceMaster Clean North East offers professional contract cleaning services to healthcare, education, and commercial clients across the region, working closely with local organisations and supporting community activities whenever possible.

ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services Bradford and Sheffield Graves Park Animal Farm Sponsorship

ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services Bradford and Sheffield has agreed a two-year sponsorship with Graves Park Animal Farm, supporting the upkeep of the park’s public toilets.

Graves Park Animal Farm is located within Graves Park and draws visitors year-round, especially in spring and summer. Families, schools, and community groups visit to see some of the UK’s rarest farm animals up close.

You can meet Tamworth pigs, Highland cattle, Jacob sheep, plus goats, donkeys, waterfowl, and more. The farm is free to visit, which makes it a popular choice for days out during warmer months.

The Graves Park Animal Farm sponsorship

The sponsorship reflects the business’s long-standing commitment to both high cleaning standards and community involvement across Bradford and Sheffield.

ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services in Bradford and Sheffield has been operating for nearly 30 years. During this time, the business has established long-term relationships with clients across various sectors. Many contracts last for several years, thanks to our consistent delivery and commitment to local accountability.

Graves Park Animal Farm attracts approximately 300,000 visitors each year. The public restrooms are essential for guests spending time in the park.

Under the sponsorship agreement:

ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services in Bradford and Sheffield will be sponsoring the public toilet at the Animal Farm. The business will receive a plaque on the park’s sponsor board as recognition.

Cleaning products will be provided at no cost up to a specified value, and any products that exceed this value will be supplied at cost under a two-year agreement.

The decision behind the sponsorship

ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services in Bradford and Sheffield is owned by Stu and Eloise McCaig. Before joining ServiceMaster, Stu worked as a contractor and then as a permanent data analyst at Lloyds Bank. After many years in corporate roles, he decided to take control of his own career path and build a local business.

The Graves Park Animal Farm sponsorship aligns with this approach, enabling the business to support a space used daily by the local community while applying its professional expertise to maximise impact.

“Public toilets are an essential part of any well-used park. If they are not clean or feel unsafe, people cut visits short or stop coming altogether. With around 300,000 visitors a year, Graves Park needs facilities that people can trust. This sponsorship is about doing something practical for the community and taking pride in the spaces people share”, says owner Stu McCaig.

ServiceMaster Clean by Deeland: Sponsoring Rugby Teams in Newbury & Swindon

ServiceMaster Clean sponsors two rugby clubs in Newbury and Swindon with kits and pitch-side signage.

The team at ServiceMaster Clean by Deeland are proud to announce that they are sponsors of the local Swindon Supermarine RFC under 12s and Newbury RFC rugby teams.

 Managing Director Andre Gottemaker said,

“We have always believed it’s important to give back to the local community, and supporting local sports teams is a great way to do this.  Both clubs also have vibrant youth teams, and it’s fantastic to be a part of encouraging young people to get into sport.”

Andre visited the Supermarine U12s on Sunday at their match against Cirencester to present the team with their new shirts and shorts.

The constant rain throughout the morning made for a very muddy experience but didn’t dim the excitement of having a brand-new kit to play in.

After the kit was presented, the boys had great fun chasing Andre across the pitch to get him as muddy as possible!

The new signage among the action!

Commenting on the sponsorships, the Deeland team said:

“We are proud to be associated with the [U12] club.  [We’re] wishing them a successful season with lots more mud, fun and excellent rugby!”

“We are also delighted to continue our sponsorship of Newbury Rugby Club this season.

It’s great to hear about the growth in participation, especially amongst the ladies and youth teams. The club is thriving, and we’re looking forward to some great matches!”
