CS Bradford & Sheffield Sponsored a Guide Dog as their way of Giving Back

ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services Bradford and Sheffield have recently decided to sponsor a puppy through Guide Dogs UK as their way of giving back to their community. Choosing to sponsor a dog seemed like a very rewarding initiative and one that was close to the hearts of the husband-wife director team. Hear what they had to say below:

Meet Parsnip

Named after a festive feast favourite, Parsnip is a golden retriever puppy who loves downtime with his favourite toy, soaking up all the fuss and attention. He loves exploring new sights and smells alongside his mum, Dory and dad Victor.

Parsnip is one of the charity’s newest recruits and is enrolled in the Guide Dogs training programme, working towards his goal of being partnered with his new guide dog owner, providing life-changing support and companionship.

ServiceMaster Clean Bradford Owner Expands Commercial Cleaning Services into Sheffield

Get acquainted with the new owner of ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services Sheffield.

Two years ago, Stuart McCaig and his wife, Eloise, decided to change their career trajectories to build a legacy for their children, rather than just working to live.

They moved into contract cleaning, purchasing the well-established ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services Bradford from its previous owner of 25 years.

Having watched the business sustainably grow over this period, along with the gradual implementation of modernisations and efficiencies to help meet new challenges, they have doubled down and decided to make another leap as the new owners of ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services Sheffield.

We sat down with Stuart to learn more about their new business.

As with Bradford, Stuart and Eloise are purchasing another well-established business with a strong operational foundation and a history of quality service throughout Sheffield.

These two businesses will operate under the trading name ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services Bradford and Sheffield, with a Head Office remaining in Bradford and a further operational office in Sheffield.

The Expansion

Stuart says that when the opportunity to expand the business arose, he was eager to rise to the challenge.

“Expansion opportunities within the network do not arise often, and given the proximity of Sheffield, it was a no-brainer. It is also a very different challenge to [running ServiceMaster Clean] Bradford, being a smaller business brings very different challenges, which I am keen to test myself with.”

Given the smaller territory in Sheffield, Stuart says he and Eloise have the chance to grow the business in their vision. Some processes in Bradford that were still in place from the previous ownership aren’t fully optimised for Stuart’s vision, despite the evolutions made through the business’s technological solutions, which have already enabled their expansion. Taking over Sheffield, they can implement these changes in their new territory to provide an even better service to clients in the area.

“Bringing the company further forward regarding its digitisation and modernisation has allowed us to free up the management team’s time to focus more on our colleagues and customers,” Stuart says.

Now, when implementing new processes in Sheffield, they can transition these across Bradford to allow our vision to spread across both areas.

This is a vision of sustainable growth through the opportunity provided by expanding into Sheffield.

“With the current changing landscape of commercial and contract cleaning, we have a great opportunity to bring a new and refreshed view to Sheffield,” Stuart says.

Meet the new owner of ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services in Bradford

We sat down with Stuart McCaig, the new owner of ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services Bradford.

ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services in Bradford is now under new management, having been sold by the previous owner, Clive Jones, to former data analyst Stuart McCaig.

We sat down with Stuart to see how he’s been getting on with his new business and discuss his aspirations for the future.

Get to know the owner

Before joining ServiceMaster, Stuart worked as a contractor and a permanent data analyst for Lloyds Bank.

“I did a multitude of tasks, but towards the end, it was data analytics, and for my final big project, I was involved with a large-scale legal tendering process,” he says.

This background has informed his approach to decision-making and his direction.

After many years at Lloyds, he says he “wanted to be the master” of his “own path.”

So, he decided to step into something new.

After speaking with Clive and spending time in ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services Bradford, Stuart decided to take it on.

He is now ready to bring his committed, methodical and driven approach to contract cleaning.

Stuart’s Customer-Centric Approach

Embarking on his new path, Stuart says his focus is supporting clients to create a better cleaning experience.

His data-driven background means he recognises how to see what is of value for business and is committed to client satisfaction.

“My goal is making sure that the customers are being serviced in the way they should be,” he says.

“If they entrust us with what is essentially quite a simple task, their cleaning needs, we will do everything to ensure these needs are met.

And if, for some reason, they’re not, we will endeavour to put that right. I’ll spend every waking hour trying to ensure the business is where it needs to be and making sure they’re happy.”

“I’ll go Above and Beyond to make sure they’re happy the service we provide is what they expect.”
